Made with Galil's delicious O cookies, pretzel sticks, frosting, and candy eyes, these crawlers are as cute as they are yummy. Let's dive into the deliciously spooktacular world of Pretzel-Spider Crawlers!

Ingredients

  • O cookies
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Frosting (chocolate or any desired color)
  • Candy eyes
  • Wax paper or parchment paper

Instructions

  • 1

Lay out a clean and dry workspace and place a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper on it to prevent any mess.

  • 2

Gently twist the O's cookies apart. Be careful not to break the cookies. You should have two halves, one with the cream filling and one without.

  • 3

Take one half of the cookie with the cream filling and place it on your work surface, cream-side up. This will be the body of your spider.

  • 4

Carefully break the thin pretzel sticks in half to create eight legs for your spider. Dip the broken end of each pretzel stick into icing to help them stick to the cookie.

  • 5

Attach four pretzel legs on each side of the cookie to create the spider's legs. Press them gently into the cream filling.

  • 6

Close the cookie with the other half.

  • 7

Dab a small amount of icing on the back of each candy eye. Attach the candy eyes to the front of the cookie, above the legs, to create the spider's eyes.

  • 8

Allow your spider cookies to sit for a little while to let the icing harden and secure the legs and eyes in place.

  • 9

Your spider cookies are now ready to be enjoyed! They make a fun and spooky treat for Halloween or any spider-themed party.

  • 10

Note: You can get creative with your spider cookies by using different types of cookies (regular, golden, or flavored), various colors of icing, and different sizes of candy eyes to make a variety of cute or creepy spider designs.
