Galil's Fried Pickle Chips

  1. Using a deep pan for frying, add about 2 inches of oil for frying and heat using a medium fire.
  2. While that heats, use a big flat plate and mix the flour, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Then add in your hot sauce and water, mixing until smooth.
  3. Then toss a few pickles to the batter to thoroughly coat. Using a slotted spoon lift each pickle form batter to remove excess.
  4. Gently add each pickle chip to the oil one at a time. Fry until golden (about 1 1/2-2 minutes).
  5. Remove and place on a paper towel to soak up the excess oil.
  6. Make sure oil temperature stays at 375 degrees and continue working in batches until you have the desired amount of pickle chips.
  7. Once all cooled, serve with your favorite sauce and enjoy!
