Homemade Pizza

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until the yeast becomes foamy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine pizza flour and salt.
  3. Create a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  4. Gradually mix the ingredients together until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  6. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.
  7. Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended for your pizza
  8. Punch down the risen dough and transfer it to a floured surface.
  9. Roll out the dough to your desired thickness.
  10. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet.
  11. Add your favorite pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven according to your specific pizza recipe or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  13. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and enjoy your homemade pizza!
